Ephesians Scripture Writing Challenge

February 1, 2017 By Mandy Kelly 5 Comments

disclosure

Y’all! I am blown away by how much positive response we got to the Philippians Scripture Writing Challenge! It resonated with so many people on their desire to get into the Word in 2017! The small changes that we made were a homerun – and so here we are, heading into the next book of the Bible: Ephesians!

Ephesians Scripture Writing Challenge for the Whole Family! Dig into Ephesians with us and let's go deeper in our faith!

What I loved about our January challenge is that it went along hand and glove with our Series on Joy. So, I have decided to team up my writing again this month, and we are going to be working our way through Ephesians and we are going to be talking about relationships. Although the whole book of Ephesians is not about relationships, there is a ton in the book that talks about who we are in Christ-  and I think it is so important that we know and understand that before we focus on our outwards relationships!

Remember, this year, we are intending on going deeper in our study. We are doing more than just writing the scripture, we are starting to write what God is teaching us about that scripture. I know God is going to be teaching us so much as we journey through the pages of Ephesians! The book is rich and deep!

If you use my journal pages, feel free to print 2 of each page so that you can write your thoughts out!

Thank you for making this! I loved completing an entire book in January. It felt great! I have been checking the blog all week for what comes next! I am excited for Ephesians. I appreciate what you are doing.

I printed off the daily writing schedule, but I must have misunderstood when you said we were going deeper in our study;; I assumed you would be giving us questions or something to prompt us to get us started. So we need to refer to commentaries to get more meaning?

    Thank you.

The pages are longer so you can write down your observations and applications as the Holy Spirit leads. Last year, I only provided room for people to write the scripture. I just wanted to help people get into the habit. This year, we are taking another step, and allowing more space for a devotional. I am hoping to add a devotional aspect to these in the next few months.
