Thanksgiving is a time when we have the whole family together. Tons of people- and tons of food. Different family members bring dishes that were traditional to their family growing up. Sometimes, we even have friends who join us for our Thanksgiving meal.
Between now and Christmas – we will share meals, and recipes, with tons of friends and family!
Thanksgiving Recipe Cards and Stickers
Every year, I am asked for the recipe for this or that. It never fails! So, this year, I am coming prepared to the holiday meals that I am attending with recipe cards already filled out. I am also taking the time this year to have my mom and mother in law write out some of our Thanksgiving recipes – in their own handwriting – so that I can keep them for years to come. I am also beginning to make these cards for my children so that they will have this legacy of love for generations to come.
Since I wanted to make these for my family, I decided that I would share them with you all. I am so thankful for you. Each person who lands on this tiny internet space of mine is a blessing to me. It is because of each of you – whether this is your first visit or if we have been friends for a while – that I write, share, and do what I do here.
So, as my Thanksgiving gift to you, I am sharing these beautiful recipe cards and stickers.
Fill the recipe cards with your handwriting- or take a moment and let those whose legacy you wish to fill write some things down.
Make some extra yummies – and place one of these sweet stickers (You’ll need sticker paper) on them!
Another great idea is to laminate your recipe cards.
Chime in: What are some ways that you share and pass down recipes through the generation in your family? What is a recipe your family just “has to have” to make your holiday meal complete?
