Every day, I leave two things on my counter. Both are books. Both are open. Both give me direction for my life.
Each day, as I start my day, I open my Bible. I read what the Lord has for me for the day. Right now, it is the book of Job. As soon as I am doing reading Job, I flip to the passage that I am doing for the Scripture Writing Challenge. I write the scripture out, and then I leave my Bible open to that page.
The next thing I do is I pull out my Happy Planner. My Planner tells me what we have on the agenda for the day. It might just be work and homeschooling- but it also has my list of chores, whats for dinner, who needs to go where, and what work needs to be done in both my Posh Business and here for the Blog.
These two books tell me how to run my day. I can’t do it without them.
My scripture reading right now is on dealing with suffering – and then moves in the wisdom of God. How perfect the two go hand in hand! These verses give me something to meditate on. If I have to do child-training (which I always do), my Bible is easily accessible for me to flip to passages of scripture that tell my children why God would want us to act a certain way. Discipleship of my children happens all day. It isn’t just a set time (although we do that!) – but it is an all day process. Much like my sanctification- which is life long. I need my Bible. It stays open so I can remember what I studied, and what my attitude is going to be on. It doesn’t make me sinless- but it does help me meditate. I can go back often. If I leave my house, I have another Bible the is in my bag in case I need it. As I change rooms, the Bible moves with me.
Then my planner. I have become a planner girl, and I use several throughout my day. I have a homeschool planner (that also has a brief run down of my daily schedule). I use the Well Planned Day for a Homeschool Planner. Then, at my desk is my Blog Success Planner. It has all my work stuff in it. It has what post need to be shared, what content need to be written. I could not run my businesses without it! Then, there is my ZooDori. This is a travelers notebook that has a smaller version of the blog success planner in it, several notebooks, and a small planner. This is what I take with me on the go. Then, there is my Happy Planner. That is where everything is. It often moves room to room with me too. On Sunday, it gets special attention as I decorate it – which is stress relief for me. I use these planners to keep me organized.
So many people ask me how I do it all. I don’t. That is the simple truth. However, the things that I do – I do because of these things.
So, today, I am giving away a Happy Planner. Because it is Happy – and I want you to be able to organize too!
This isn’t a sponsored post, and what I am about to share isn’t paid for. I am sharing because I just love the product. The one you get will come from Amazon – paid for by me – because I love my readers!
I love the Happy Planner because I can decorate it. For me, it is a creative outlet. On Sunday night, after church I like to come home, and sit down with my stickers and plan out my week. With as many balls as I rotate, it is important to me to make sure I know what is expected of me. I also like the Happy Planner because it isn’t dated- you can move stuff around. The pages are move-able- and there are tons of inserts and things you can get to customize it!
This giveaway is going for ONE WEEK! I would love for you to share it with your friends!
