In 2015, I am committing. One of the things I am committing to is more time alone with the Lord, and more time allowing myself to focus. One thing that I have learned that helps me focus is to write scripture. I find it to be very relaxing, and only takes a few minutes of time. Plus, this helps you meditate on God’s Word all day. So, I thought others might like to join me on this challenge, and so I thought I would share it here.
Scripture Writing Challenge
Each month, you will be able to find a printable here on my blog – for subscribers- that will allow you to write through scripture. When you enter you email address below, you will get the free printable. However, if you choose to write the scripture in your own notebook or planner- that is fine too. I will be doing a small devotional email each day to go along with the verse. So, if you want the printable or the email devotional – you will want to enter your name in the subscribe box below (Even if you are already subscribed! This will add you to the right list!). Then, as a form of accountability – share a picture of your scripture on Instagram and use the hashtag #worshipfullivingscripturewriting – when you click on the hash tag, you will be able to find others who are also writing the same scripture as you!
Each month, there will be a different theme. By the end of 2016- we will have written out over 365 verses (because some days have longer passages!)
Also, at the end of each month is a longer passage. I am planning on memorizing some bigger passages of scripture this year- and so you can write out and memorize these verses!
January Scripture Writing Challenge
So, what is the January Challenge? This month, we are going to be focusing on Wisdom. As the New Year begins, I want to step out in Wisdom – and wisdom is found in the Word of God.
You can now get this past scripture challenge- plus six others- in one amazing bundle!
