Spring Cleaning got done in our home in March. We focused on a room a day – detailing each room. It took us about a week to clean the house, but when it was done, it was so worth it! Our children were a huge help to us in getting things done- and they have been a big help in keeping things tidy!
I am not the only one who lives in my house. My children live here too. It is important that they are a part of the cleaning process. I am also training them to one day have their own homes. To be responsible adults. To be good roommates – and one day spouses! I want them to know how to do laundry, cook simple meals, and keep things tidy.
This starts young. We can start training our children from the time they are toddlers that they have responsibility in our home.
Today, I am over at Proverbial Homemaker sharing about how my children are Helping Hands around our home, and what chores we do by age. There is even a free printable of age appropriate chores!
