Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 1 Corinthians 13:6
God loves to delight in us and rejoices in seeing our hearts an lives following the path He has for us. Somewhere along the way, there has been the a misconception that our lives will always be perfect if we are following God’s will.
Our perspective of what “perfect” looks like differs from what God thinks. As our Heavenly father, He has a plan that is fitted just right for us to grow, learn, and share in God’s perfect love.
God’s perfect love is pure, without evil. We can know that His ways are always going to lead us where He has planned. Each of our lives are part of a greater story that weaves us together as believers. Even as Joseph was sold into slavery and went to Egypt, God used each event to pave a way for His people.
Our God loves us with an unconditional love and wishes the best for our lives. When hiccups an trials come across our path, the Lord has provided us with resources to help us through. The devil would love nothing more than to watch us wallow and become frustrated. We are not able to be fully used by God when our focus in on ourselves.
The attitude we choose to have reflects our hearts. When we come before the Lord in humble expectation of what God will do- we leave behind our facades and pride. The Lord wants to bless and walk with us where we are in life. There are no checklists of perfect Christianity. In order for God to work in and through us, we need to refocus our heart and mind.
Jesus desires to connect with us and help us walk our path with love and truth, together. Today, might we be yielded to hearing God’s voice as He leads our hearts. May we choose to rejoice in His truth!
Imprinting Him with my life,
